Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet

This morning I woke up with a headache. Not a super bad one, just an annoying one that wouldn't go away. Then we had to leave early to go to a congregation about an hour and a half from here, which meant I had to get up really early. It was raining, and I was cold. The road was bumpy, and I was just plain grumpy.

Then I heard Miles say, "Hey, y'all, do you see the rainbow over to the left?!"

And there it was. God's promise.

He gave it to Noah, he continues to give it to us thousands of years later.

It was beautiful. It was one of the crystal clear ones, where you can see every individual colour distinctly. It really made everything not so bad. My headache seemed to ease, the clouds got lighter...

"This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord."
-Lamentations 3:21-26

Hoping and praying that we all may have hope and more patience. :)

Have a blessed week!
